Thankyou so, so much for all your lovely comments on Wednesdays post. My other half is still in hospital, the pain is subsiding but he is understandably very uncomfortable, frustrated , bored and hungry..he isn't impressed at all with hospital food.

The swelling has started to go down, and the docs hope to put a cast on at least one of his feet tomorrow.

these photos are all of his left foot, this is the worst one, with a major break aswell as fractures.

So,so sorry I haven't visited any woywwers, I am just so tired.

  7. They look BAD - and being in hospital is enough to send you stir crazy (I should know, I work in one!), never mind not being able to move about while you're there. Lets hope he can get home soon. x

  16. Oh no!!! It's awful having to do hospital visits and stay cheery and on the ball, try and take a little time for you and invest in some Berrocca (it's the future, lol!)

  17. Darcy i am so sorry to read about your partners accident. The food was rubbish when I was in hospital 2 years ago - not changed then! As soon as he is home you will be able to build him up on good home cooking. Take care and don't forget to look after yourself.

  19. Oh my gosh, this looks like HELL. I read on Doone's blog that they are sending him HOME without putting a cast on, or anything. Does the UK have worker insurance, where the company pays the bills and the worker gets medical attention? Won't them not putting a cast on make it even longer for him to return to work? I know, I'm curious. You don't have to answer me. I just wanted you to know I stopped by and would help if I could. There's a bit of a mileage difference that can't be overcome, though.
