Hello blogland, how are you all? Well here we are another week has passed and it is finally here, the much anticipated 1st birthday of WOYWW, brainchild of Julia Dunnit. What have you made, what is adorning your desks? I am excited to see.
I seem to have some little guests on my desk; they have appeared out of nowhere…well ok they have appeared out of a bit of calico and some matchboxes lol

They are ‘bloppers’…I know, I know you always wondered what a real blopper looked like…

First we have Flori, just look how pretty she is with her spangly tiara, so quiet and sweet.

Then we have Viktor, a bundle of mischievousness, but with a heart of gold.

Together they flit around blogland, using their delicate flittery wings….come on how else you gonna get around over 100 blogs each week?

Flori finds t’interweb a little confusing, especially cyberspace, which she thinks must be awfully chilly, so she is knitting a Dr.Who length scarf for her beloved to keep him warm. She also constantly reminds him about the dangers of oncoming traffic on the information highway….she really just doesn’t ‘get it’

Viktor is a journaleeeest, he does a lot of reading and searching for the best blog stories each week, he then produces the WOYWW weekly.

Did you make it into the newspaper?

Of course being busy bloppers they need a place of their own to work, so they have their own workdesk…..

ahhh you thought I forgot the matchboxes didn’t you? ( See previous post for what I did with the pile of pegs)

So what is on my desk today?...... a couple of cutie bloppers, on their desk..on my desk...

Have a great day, thanks for visiting. I am off to have a nosey at your creations now.
P.S pop back on Friday if you want to see photos and bits of info on how the bloppers were made.

I am honestly fearful of having you donate anything to my charity for auction because I would be SO tempted to keep it lol.

I of course would be honored to do both, but the temptation OMG... ;)

  11. Oh Darcy...I'm at a bit of a loss for words for a change. These two are just gorgeous - there's no teeny detail that isn't fab, even the matchboxes! I'm slightly overwhelmed by how you picked up a ridiculous challenge and turned it into something real and special. Vikto and Flori are just gorgeous - look forward to hearing of exploits and seeing them on your desk as the weeks go by.

  16. You went ALL out with your challenge. There are so many sights to take in and so many details to explore. The bloppers alone are super, but when they read the newspaper, I got a huge laugh. Even read a bit of it, myself. That matchbox storage unit looks awesome. I've been watching to see what you would make with them. I bet it's as practical as it is beautiful. Need I say more? Love your WOYWWAC post! Happy WOYWW, too.
