New Stamps. Dragonfly Garden.

Good morning, here is a launch sample using stamps in a different way. I love how bendy our flower stems are, it means they can be positioned however you want. I took the stem from EDY14...

and bent it into a wavy line on this white/greyboard. I then stamped the small flowers into place.

I wanted to keep the flowers unpainted, so I blended Guacamole and Beach Hut around the flowers.

I then used Beach Hut and Inky Pool on the bottom and around the edges.

At this point I made a mistake and had to start again.. I hadn't checked to see the original direction of my wavy line.. so this version has the wave slightly differently lol

I added the background starry image from EDY13 all over the background.

next I used Orchid to stamp the grasses from EDY12.  The text was stamped onto smoothy and then die cut.

I then stamped and coloured lots of the flower heads from EM11, these make fantastic flower centres.

Using the flower stem from EDY12, and the oval stamp from EDY13 I was able to create the dragonfly, he is coloured with Fibralo pens.

I also added patterning to the flower heads with a black pen, and a little black stamping at the board edges with the border from EDY11.

All done, lots of flowers added.

This was a fun and silly way to use stamps... bend them, cut them up, leave them unpainted...use your imagination.

I will be back soon.
