Poppies and Bobbles

Another sample from my new releases. I started with heavy smoothy card cut to 5x7 inches. This was coloured with China, Smurf and Baltic Blue, all blended with cut and dry foam. over this I stamped the text  from all 3 of my new stamp sets, using Cornflower Archival ink.

Next I used my new stencil PS031 to stencil some circles in  Tango, then I added Cosmic Shimmer glue and some gilding flakes to some of the circles and doodling with a black pen to the others.

Next I used PS030 and the 'random' edge to stencil around the card using Baltic Blue.

I love how this frames the card.

Next I painted more card with Cherry Red and stamped the poppy flower from EDY19. These were cut out and layered up in pairs, with the centres being restamped onto blue.

The leaves from the same set were stamped onto white card and coloured with Baltic Blue, these were cut out leaving a small white border. Before attaching the flowers I stamped the tall spikey grasses from EDY18.

The text from EDY17 was stamped onto torn paper then layered onto corruagte card 9 painted with China) and also layered onto book text.

The whole thing was sprayed lightly with a shimmery spray and then the red bobble trim was added to the bottom.

These stamps and stencils are available now from your favourite PaperArtsy retailer.
