I was lucky enough to be sent some brand new mini stamps to try out. These are just so versatile.
I made backgrounds...
and fabric...
I stamped on metal..
and created love birds..

ReplyDeleteQuestion: I was totally intrigued by your metal feathers. Did you do something to the edges (roll it or something) so they wouldn't be sharp?

I stamped onto the inside of a drinks can, this is quite thin metal. I rolled a dressmakers wheel around them to add detailing, then cut with scissors just outside that line. I didnt do anything else to the edges.They really arent sharp at all. it is possible the work i did on the back of them with the ball tool and the paper stump may have taken any sharp edges off. I didn't think to check if they were sharp before I used those tools, though I don't recall them feeling sharp at any point.
