As I have been making samples with the Fibralo pens, I have been using paper towels to mop up and to wipe off my brushes, this has resulted in very pretty towels, once dried.
I took one and glued it to a large tag, using matte glaze. This turned out brilliantly, and resulted in a cross between fabric and card.
I started to add some grunge paste through a Lin Brown stencil. ELB PS002
I also added grunge paste around the edge.
I then used washes of Fibralo ink and a brayer to colour some smoothy card.
I coloured the grunge paste and the border with fibralo pens and water. I then used Lins stencils to create flowers on the smoothy card. I cut these out and stamped over them with some of Lin's stamps, before layering them up and securing with a brad.
Finally adding the title from ELB06 and rubbing treasure gold onto the grunge paste border.
Finished tag..
The pens are available from PaperArtsy HERE..

ReplyDeleteOh wow this is a awesome tag, I took your advice and bought them lol. My tag on sunday was my first time using them. I cant believe I only had to use 4 pens to get such gorgeous tones of colour by just adding water. I can't wait to keep playing with them :-) Kezzy xxx
