New Years Eve

It is almost time to say Goodbye to 2015 and welcome in a brand new year, a shiny, sparkling 2016. But before then, let's take a look back at this year.

Was it a good year for you? I was fortunate to continue working with PaperArtsy, and see my hand drawn stamp collections grow. I was also invited to teach some workshops around the country, whilst terrifying it was a great thrill.. not just teaching techniques but meeting loads of new people. Thankyou to everyone who invited me and to those that came along. I hope we get to play again together next year.

I made some art pieces that I totally love, some awesome cakes, pasta for the first time..and finally managed 100 lengths of my swimming pool. I also saw great friends, great bands and even achieved a personal goal of getting published in a magazine.

Towards the end of the year my health took a nosedive, a bug for 6 weeks kicked my butt and left me wide open for a Christmas cold. I really need shares in a tissue company, given that I now have a tissue mountain outside my house that is obliterating my view of the hills. But hey ho, many others have it much worse, my heart goes out to those suffering with job losses, deaths of loved ones and those flooded out of their homes.

So to end the year in a blaze of colour, here are my favourite makes of this year.

A couple of cards first..

next journal pages..

how about a couple of bags..

Some flowery pieces, a basket of blooms and a moorland created with babywipes!!

a papier mache cup and saucer

and a clock for halloween..

a couple of sculptures, firstly Vincent and then a revamped Barbie doll..

a canvas for my niece..

a cake for my brother..

published at last!! I even designed a free stamp for you..

and a big hair girl, those 80's deely boppers make me smile. I guess this festive girlie is the best way to end the year

It makes me so happy to see so much variation, so many things to play with, so many things to make, so little time lol let us all make sure we create lots more next year.

So wishing you all a wonderful, peaceful and most importantly..safe.. New Year. I hope 2016 brings you all that you wish for, and that we get to be creative together again.
