Wow Oh Wow

The very lovely people over at WOW embossing sent me some of their brand new embossing Glitters to try out. Glitter doesn't really do them justice, if you love bling then you must have these new colours.

I simply could not decide which I liked best, Each lid I removed garnered more oohs and ahhs. They have a whole load of new products this season, all of which have been showcased recently at CHA by the gorgeous Marion Emberson. Check out her blog for photos of the new products on display at CHA. You can also see her demoing via Periscope

Here are my sparkly pots of glee.

I decided to make a ring, just to try one of the colours out. It is a simple but effective process, and you can see Marion herself show you the technique in this video.

I started with my foil dish and peg handle and some Melt it powder mixed with Heart Throb.

I chose to use the large Pansy silicone mould, this is a really elegant and quite flat flower, and I love it. Sadly this one is going to be retired, so grab yours while you still can. Pansy Mould

After heating the mixed powder and glitter ( from underneath first) i was then able to pour into the mould. While still hot and molten I pushed the ring blank into the liquid and held it in place with a peg while it set.

Ta-daaa!

Just to add a bit more bling... more is more right? I tickled the edges with just a tiny bit of White Fire Treasure Gold. I love it so much I have worn it everyday since.

Hope you liked that, I think this year will be an embossing year. i have a few ideas that I want to try out, so watch this space.
