First bit of arty stuff for the year. I really want to work more in my journals this year, so I painted up these backgrounds today.

They were already
gessoed, some covered smoothly and others lefts with blobs, brush marks and crevices.

The first layer of colour was done with
neocolor crayons, painted over with water. The top layer was done with
Inktense pencils.

Then I cut these mini pages out using the Big Shot, I may give a weekly prompt
thingie a go, there are 52 cut ready, in neutral shades of
cardstock.....but whether this actually turns into a project remains to be seen.
Oh my Darcy you have been a busy bee haven't you...was going to ask what you are going to do with them all but I can see in your next post...heehee...have a great day - only one more before the kids go back to school...yipeeeeee!!! Kirsti xxx
