COWLING AND WILCOX...
They have been in business since the 60's and were the first store to carry stocks of LETRASET TRANSFERS (my other favourite company) They now sell from 3 stores in London, and have 2 webstores.
They are by far the best value, and I have found their service to be excellent, with quick delivery and plenty of communications to let you know when goods are arriving. postage costs are competitive and if you spend over £40 (UK ONLY) then postage is free. They do take overseas orders but of course postage costs are higher.
At the moment the January SALE is on, so why not pop over and bag a bargain CHECK OUT THE PRODUCTS
My favourite purchases in the past have included WATERCOLOUR PAPER I use this Cotman paper, especially for my Life Book pages. It is fantastic quality paper and they have the best prices. Another favourite is the SYSTEM 3 PAINT again great quality and value for money. In fact I don't think i have seen it cheaper.
My most recent purchase was a DRAWING BOARD though I had seen this board on many websites, none of them were as cheap as this. I had been thinking about this purchase for a good while, trying to decide between an easel or a board. I am so glad I chose the board, it is perfect for me...
here it is on my desk, being used..
I was excited to find that C&W had a FACEBOOK PAGE... I would urge you to go there and hit like, it will be worth it. They often have surprise giveaways from their facebook page, and gotta be in it to win it!
Just last week I switched on my laptop and saw in my feed that they were giving away canvas bags to the first 5 people to comment, and then email in with their address. I was so chuffed to be the first one to send in my email, and as a result I received this fabulous bag...and I have already used it.
Disclaimer. This review was written freely, Cowling and Wilcox have not paid me for this review either in cash or products. I did receive the bag freely as a giveaway winner and felt this great uk company deserved a good review.
Thanks Darcy, have also been pondering a drawing board for, well, over a year now so will go check them out.
