Weekly Face on Weds

This week I have a teeny tiny face, the other day was my niece's 3rd birthday. When I mentioned needing to make a card, Jay the Viking offered to draw an outline, based on a photo of my niece, Emily.


I started to colour with Derwent coloursoft pencils. First, working on her face and hair. 



Then I started on her dress etc.


next the wings .



final touches and shading.


Then I added a background and turned it into a card.. I added glitter glue to the wings and the lettering. 



it needed something more, to finish off the background. So I went crazy with my favourite star stamp. A girl can never have too many stars.
