DLP Week 9. Collage some Recycled Stuff

I finally managed to complete a prompt page, I did skip a page {number 8} only because i want to sew on that one and my machine isn't set up at the moment.

so i moved onto number 9.. and started hunting for stuff that I could recycle. 

I found an old wordsearch, an index card that had been decorated ages ago, and a pencil drawing of some Fritillaria.

I added some old book pages and coloured them with Neocolors, just to get some colour into the background. 

I also added this bit of ribbon , I have no idea what the sensual indulgence was lol A friend gave me a bag o bits containing ribbons, lace,buttons etc and it was in there. .... it is really long. I glued it into the journal close to the spine, and left enough length hanging out to turn it into a placemarker. 

I added some stencilling to the background then started to glue in the recycled elements. I also found a small fireworks image on black card and some black flowers. 

Then I added lots of shading with more Neocolors, Inktense pencils and a white Posca pen.

I am pleased to get another prompt page finished, but oh dear the journal is really fat and with only 8 pages complete {yes I am that far behind} i am worried about how big it is going to be by the end of the year. I get the feeling it will need rebinding.
