DLP Week 11

Put a bird on it...

I had already started making a fabric patch for a bag, this had a bird on it . but I had lost interest in it, it just wasn't going the way I wanted. So when this prompt came up I knew I would cut up the fabric panel and use the bird..

I cut him out and glued him in the journal.

I also cut out and glued in a flower from the same fabric patch.

I then filled in the background with various pastel colours and some stencilling. I wanted the next double page to be of a similar colour so I carried the background decoration across.

I then added details to my bird with paint and pens.
