When I am printing images that I know I am going to colour with promarkers/copics..I use an ultra smooth laser copier paper. It's not the cheapest, but I have tried a lot and I really like this one for markers.
I get mine from staples, you just have to have a feel of them all, and make sure you get as smooth as you can. Anything with a bit of tooth will just suck up the markers and make them bleed.
The one I use is 100gsm..
as an aside if I am stamping images onto card and I know I am going to colour them with markers, again I use an ultra smooth card in 160gsm...with a Memento ink pad.
As for inks in the printer it is just a regular inkjet printer, and I use cheap inks. As long as you leave it to dry for a while and dont colour too hard over the outlines then there isnt much of a problem with bleeding. I tend to colour just up to the outline letting the colour seep to the line rather than colouring on top of the line.
